The breast center (Brustkompetenz Zentrum AKH-LFKK Linz) was opened in 2007 and combines all disciplines necessary for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, as well as plastic and reconstructive breast surgery (breast surgery, radiology, psychology, radiology) on 825 m2. The breast center regularly organizes surgical workshops (oncoplastic surgery, cosmetic breast surgery, reconstructive breast surgery), radiology meetings and pathology workshops. The breast center has specialized in oncoplastic breast surgery and reconstructive breast surgery and is certified by Onkozert (German Cancer Society) and ISO 2001.
