The first real breast clinic was created at the Jules Bordet Institute in 1986. Our multidisciplinary breast team at is dedicated to clinical management and research in the area of breast cancer. A full diagnostic unit (radiology including MRI, pathology) allows the diagnosis. Patients are treated by an effective multidisciplinary team familiar with all the leading treatments: there is close co-operation among the specialists working in the Screening, Surgery, Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Rehabilitation and Anatomopathology services.
