The Breast Unit at St. Joseph-Stift was established in 2004. It offers a broad spectrum of procedures and interventions for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Screening is performed within the hospital. The Unit cooperates with many services of the hospital and counts on dedicated staff. There are 4 doctors with a long experience in operative procedures. Cooperation with a plastic surgeon from Hamburg opens an expansive field of alternatives for breast cancer patients. The breast unit is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and has EUSOMA Accreditation.
