The Specialist Breast Unit at Marienhospital Aachen was established in 2003. The Breast Unit offers a broad spectrum of procedures and interventions related to malignant and benign breast disease and it is steadily expanding. The Breast Unit represents a unique combination of in-hospital breast specialists co-operating with ambulatory physicians and external institutions in the field of breast disease forming a highly functional and motivated multidisciplinary team guiding each patient all the way through assessment, therapy and follow-up.
