The unit offers a complete and multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment of breast patology such as: all mammary examination (ecography, mammography, core biopsy), sentinel lymph-node biopsy. We perform skin-sparing or nipple-sparing mastectomy and immediate or delayed mammary reconstruction in case of demolitive surgery. From January 2011 we have started to use IORT.
