The breast unit was established in 2000. The unit offers a multidisciplinary approach including all steps from risk assessment to long term follow up. Patients are treated by an effective multidisciplinary team familiar with all leading treatments: there is close cooperation among the specialists working in Screening, Surgery, Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Rehabilitation and Anatomopathology services.
