Milton Keynes Breast Unit (MKBU) serves a population of 270,000. We receive referrals from local General Practitioners as well as Physicians from nearby units via the National Health Service or Private route. All referrals are seen within 2 weeks in a Near One-Stop clinic set up. We treat over 250 cancers per year and majority of our patients undergo short stay or 23 hr Surgery programme. This Unit consists of staff working very closely together creating a truly well integrated Multi Disciplinary Team. The Breast Cancer Screening Programme is well established and consistently receives excellent report from National / Regional Quality Assurance Team Review.
