The “Instituto de Enfermedades de la Mama. FUCAM” (Breast Diseases Institute. FUCAM) is a breast specialized medical center in Mexico City founded in 2005 in which we take care of patients with breast diseases, mainly breast cancer. It is an open institute and we attend patients either coming from our breast cancer screening program or coming directly with breast disease. We yearly have over 50,000 screening mammograms with 6 mobile units. At FUCAM, we have a fully equipped X-rays department for minimally invasive biopsies and we offer breast conserving treatments, lymphatic mapping, intraoperative radiotherapy, external beam radiotherapy, immediate and delayed breast reconstruction, oncoplastic procedures, chemotherapy, psycho-oncology, pathology, nuclear medicine, genetic counseling and palliative care. We also offer a breast specialized training for radiologists, gynecologist and general surgeons.
