Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty Breast Center was founded in May 2002. An experienced highly-qualified team of consultants on breast surgery, radiology, pathology, nuclear medicine, medical oncology, radiation oncology and plastic/reconstructive surgery works together in a multidisciplinary setting. We hold multidisciplinary meetings twice a week to discuss and plan diagnostic procedures, indications and types of surgery, types of breast reconstruction, neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatments. Our unit serves as a diagnostic unit and, if possible, it assures breast conservative surgery with the latest technology (ROLL, SNOLL, AROLL, sentinel node procedure with blue dye and/or radio-tracer technique). Moreover, we provide postgraduate education for our residents and medical students.
