We are a fully constituted, well functioning multidisciplinary team (MDT) providing state of the art comprehensive Breast Cancer Care. We hold two weekly MDT meetings to minimize any delays in the patient pathway, reflecting the workload of a busy breast cancer service. We provide a comprehensive one-stop diagnostic service with 99.9% of the patients receiving all their investigations on the same day. Our breast surgeons attend the breast cancer screening assessment MDTs and clinics at King's College Hospital and provide the entire range of oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery. We are one of the busiest tertiary breast reconstruction units in the UK. In association with our Clinical Genetics department, we are the only service in the southeast to provide a comprehensive super-speciality, multi-disciplinary BRCA clinic for high-risk women. We carry out a large number of risk-reducing surgeries every year. We have a dedicated team of Breast Nurses to provide mentorship and support for all our patients. We offer complementary therapy and survivorship programmes. We have a comprehensive research portfolio across the patient pathway.
