The Mastology Unit of the Angel H Roffo Institute of the University of Buenos Aires was established in June 2015. It included the following services: Mastology (includes genetic counselling and oncoplastic surgery), Clinical Oncology (including day hospital), Radiotherapy, Medicine Nuclear, Imaging, Pathology, Rehabilitation, Psychopathology, Palliative Care, Clinic, Research (Conicet), Nursing. In addition to doing a constant multi-disciplinary interactive care work, this functional unit has a monthly meeting and multiple weekly meetings of each subspecialty where representatives from all areas participate. This Unit was Certified by the Certification Commission of the Argentine Mastology Society on March 30, 2016.
