The Breast Unit of Regina Pacis Clinic (San Cataldo, CL) is one of main integrated Breast Units in Sicily (Italy). It has a unique geographical set up: the Breast Unit has its own ward, its own operating theatre and its own clinic inter-connected with its own integrated facilities providing ultrasound, mammography, tomosynthesis and 3 Tesla-MR directly in the Unit. One floor above the clinical facilities there are the Pathology Unit and the Centre of Genetic Oncology. Aims of the Beast Unit: 1.To provide state of the art care for all patients with breast cancer in the middle of Sicily; 2.To advance knowledge and understanding of breast cancer and to improve patient outcomes; 3.To provide not only the best medical care but truly holistic care for all our patients.
