The breast unit was established in 2000. The unit offers a multidisciplinary approach including all steps from risk assessment to long term follow up. Patients are treated by an effective multidisciplinary team familiar with all leading treatments: there is close cooperation among the specialists working in Screening, Surgery, Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Rehabilitation and Anatomopathology services. In the last two years we used scalp cooling that is a cold cup can reduce hair loss caused by chemotherapy.

By train:
Modena is an important railway station stop for Regional, Intercity, Eurostar trains. Once arrived in Modena take the train to Carpi.

From Modena: there are buses leaving every hour to Carpi.
